WBA orders Maribel Ramirez-Clara Lescurat bout
WBA Resolution: Heavyweight Division

The World Boxing Association (WBA) ordered the bout between the super flyweight champion, the Mexican Maribel Ramirez and the mandatory challenger and gold champion, the Argentinean Clara Lescurat.

The Championships Committee of the pioneer organization sent the communication to both parties to start negotiations for the bout.

Ramirez last fight was a draw against Chilean Daniela Asenjo last Saturday, so she retained her crown in San Francisco de Mostazal after a considerable time without stepping into the ring due to the pandemic.

Lescurat defeated Nataly Delgado in her most recent fight, held in Panama City. In that fight she won the gold crown, which gave her the right to face the champion in her next bout.

Ramirez has a record of 13 wins, 9 losses, 3 draws and 3 knockouts, while Lescurat is undefeated in 6 fights, with 3 knockouts.
