Keiver Fernandez will make the first defense of his World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedelatin super flyweight title this Saturday against Pablo Macario at Los Andes Mall, in Panama City.

The Venezuelan will defend his regional belt against the Guatemalan in an exciting 10-round bout that will be the main event of the evening that will take place in Panama. 

“Chuky”, as the 25-year-old fighter is known won the belt against Nicaraguan Keyvin Lara in June 2021. In October of that year he defeated Jose Antonio Jimenez in a non-title bout and now he will defend it for the first time. 

The challenger has made his career between his native Guatemala and Mexico. it is mentioning that he has been WBC youth champion and has managed to win good fights. He is 24 years old and will offer a good fight to the South American. 

Fernandez has a professional career of 24 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw, 13  knockout. Macario has 7 wins, 2 losses and 4 knockouts in his record.
