Joshua Franco and Andrew Moloney will fight for the second time on November 14th at the MGM Grand Bubble in Las Vegas for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Flyweight title.

The rematch between the champion, a native of San Antonio, and the now challenger from Australia, raises many expectations for what it means for boxing at this stage and for the good action that the first fight had.

“El Profesor” Joshua surprised the world last June 23rd when he beat Moloney in a great performance in the same city to win the belt. That was the first fight for a world title after the pandemic pause and it opened a new era for the Sweet Science.

In Moloney’s case, he put up a great fight and although he was defeated, he offered good action and sold his defeat very dearly, so he earned the right of a direct rematch against the American boxer.

Franco has 17 wins, 1 defeat, 2 draws and 8 KOs. For his part, Moloney has 21 wins, 1 loss and 14 KOs.
