Former  two time WBA Welterweight Champion and 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist Mark Breland visited the WBA headquarters office in Panama, WBA Executive Vice President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza and Ratings Director Jose Oliver Gomez delivered the WBA World Champion Belt to Breland who won the gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles, Olympics games and captured the WBA welterweight championship for the first time on February 6, 1987 when he stops Harold Volbrech,

and on February 4, 1989 he received another opportunity to battle for a world title and he destroyed Seung Soon Lee in the first round.

Breland became trainer since 1999, came to Panama along with female flyweight Keisher “Fire” Mcleod and manager Damon De Berry.
