Vasyl Lomachenko moved his record to 13-1, scoring his tenth victory by knockout over Anthony Crolla as he easily handled the Manchester native, stopping him in the fourth round of a one-sided fight.

Lomachenko came out pressing the action right from the start, as he used his superior footwork and speed to press the challenger around the ring. Crolla has trouble landing any punches of note and establishing any sort of rhythm.

As the rounds progressed, Lomachenko started to trap Crolla in the corners of the ring and unload more combinations while sitting down on his punches more often. Crolla did not have an answer, and was taking more and more punches, when in the third round referee Jack Reiss called a knockdown when it appeared that the ropes held up Crolla.

Lomachenko thought the fight was waved off, climbing the ropes to celebrate, but after the bit of confusion the fight resumed with only seconds left in the third round.

In the fourth round Lomachenko clearly knew Crolla did not have much left but he went for the knockout and took his man out with a right hand to the temple that felled Crolla down face-first about a minute into the round, marking the end of the fight.

With the victory Lomachenko reminded the boxing world that he is one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world. There are many mouth-watering fights out there for the WBA Super Champion and it is exciting to think of what is next.
