El Salvador is ready for the World Boxing Association’s KO Drugs Program, that will have as main event the third fight between the Venezuelan Alys “La China” Sánchez (15-3-1, 4KO) and Liliana “La Tigresa” Palmera (27-12-3, 16KO) for the WBA Super Bantamweight title. Both saw each other for the first time on Thursday afternoon, during a press conference held at a famous sport bar of San Salvador.

Both boxers stated that they feel respect for their rival and that there will be no round of study, for they already know each other enough after having fought in two occasions with one victory for each one. Besides, they promised the public of El Salvador a great show for this Saturday night.

At the press conference, there were also present the Salvadoran Juan Carlos “Speedy” Flores (6-1, 3KO) and the Costa Rican Christian Coronado (6-0, 3KO), who will fight nine rounds for the WBA-Fedecentro Super Bantamweight title. Both boxers have challenged each other through social media and their words at the conference were very exciting.

“He said he would spoil the party for me, I want to see if he is capable of proving that this Saturday”, said Flores, while Coronado expressed: “I am prepared to win, I did not come here to talk”.

The boxing card will have five more fights, including El Salvador National Welterweight Title between Richard Cortez (4-0-1, 2KO) and Francisco Ruiz (3-0).
