Canadian Jelena Mrdjenovich drew with French Stephanie Ducastel last Saturday and retained his World Boxing Association featherweight title.

Neither fighter could decipher her opponent. They both had very close rounds. the battle ended in the score card and the officials gave it a draw. Stefano Carozza scored 96-94 for the Canadian, Francisco Alloza scored it similar for the French and Daniel Van de Wiele scored 95-95.

This was Mrdjenovich WBA 126 lbs. second defense and his record is 37-10-2 , 19 KO’s.
