Cuban Erislandy Lary, World Boxing Association Super Welterweight Super champion accompanied the Mendoza Family in the Memorial mass to honor the life of WBA Emeritus president Gilberto Mendoza.
Lara said that he had travelled to Panama City in Panama because he wanted to attend the mass at the mass made in memory of Mendoza last Tuesday, March 14th.
“I did not have the pleasure to meet him, but he did a lot for Cuban boxing. He always lent a hand to us and I wanted to be with his family. Especially with Gilberto Jesus, “said Lara.
On his part, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, WBA president, thanked him on behalf of his family for his noble gesture.
