Two-time super featherweight world champion Bryan “Tiquito” Vasquez (34-1, 18 KOs) could face former world champion Javier “Abejón” Fortuna (27-0, 20 KOs) on May 16 in Panama City for the vacant WBA super featherweight title. This week it was reported that Vásquez inked a promotinal deal with Goossen Promotions. Vasquez also could be training in Panama trainer Rigoberto Garibaldi for the fight against Fortuna.
