The oficial weigh-in in Texas did not have any surprises and the World Boxing Association bantamweight super champion, Panamanian Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno and his opponent the Dominican Juan Carlos Payano, made the weight and are ready to fight on Friday.

The World champion and his contender weighed 117 lbs, in the weigh-in that was supervised by Francisco Piña.

The Dominican is undefeated in 15 fights with 8 KO’s while Moreno has 35-2-1, 12 KO´s, and this will be the 13th defense of the belt he won in 2008.

The officials appointed for the bout are: Luis Pabón from Puerto Rico, as referee, and the judges: Alfredo Polanco (MEX), César Ramos (PUR) and Rafael Ramos (US). Supervisor: Piña (COL).
