April, month of great WBA battles

April is another great month for the World Boxing Association, with six championship fights.  The most attractive fight is the heavyweight super championship fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua.

This fight is scheduled for April 29 and is expecting about 90 thousand attendants to the London Wembley Stadium to beat all records.

On the same day, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kazakh Beibut Shumenov will fight Cuban Yunier Dorticos for the WBA Cruiserweight title. In the same card, Peruvian Carlos Zambrano will fight Claudio Marrero for the WBA Featherweight Interim title.

While on April 15, Glasgow, Scotland, local Ricky Burns will make his first 140 lbs. title defense against Namibian Julius Idongo.

Although April opening fight will be on the 9th, between Venezuelan Nehomar Cermeno and Shun Kubo for the WBA 122 lbs. title in Japan.  And on April 23, also in Japan Kazuto Ioka will defend his WBA flyweight title against Noknoi Sitthiprasert.
