The Colombian Darleys Pérez knocked out Jaider Parra in his first defense of the World Boxing Association interim lightweight 135 lbs title on Friday, October 24 at XXX KO Drugs in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Pérez and Parra exchanged blows from the beginning of the fight that ended in the sixth round when the champion connected the liver of the Venezuelan champion a couple of times.

Champion said after the fight, he is ready to go for the absolute title.

Perez remained with 31-1, 20 KO´s while Parra now has 23-2, 12-KO´s.
