At the age of 66 years old promoter Michael King passed away on Thursday. The family of the WBA joins mourning that overwhelms the boxing and the relatives of the American promoter and friend.

King had under his command boxers like Youri Kalenga, Hassan N´Dam, Charles Martin, Miguel Soro, among others.

His health problems came after a recent trip to France. He failed to recover from an infection that forced him to receive medical attention.
