World Boxing Association Featherweight champion, Jamaican Nicholas Walters, is ready for his first title defense on Saturday with the Mexican Alberto Garza, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The champion has a spotless record after 22 wins, 18 KO’s, while the challenger to the black and gold belt has 25-5-1 with 20 KO’s.

Both boxers passed the weighing without problems, Walters scored 125 lbs and Garza 125.5 lbs, and both are waiting for the opening bell for their fight at the American Bank Center of the Texas City.
