Another Pinoy boxer will attempt to be lined up with WBA world champions and this will happen on October 3 as Drian Francisco “ Gintong Kamao” battles two-time world champion Roberto “La Arana” Vasquez of Panama for the WBA International Super Flyweight title in a spectacular boxing match dubbed “ Duelo del Guapos: Bakbakan sa Perlas ng Silanganan ” which will be held at Cuneta Astrodome Pasay City. This boxing event is presented to us by Saved by the Bell Promotions of Elmer Anuran and of Solar Sports.

Expect exchange of hard punches as two gloved fighters are risking their unblemished record and their pride for the match which will be aired live through television in US, Canada and Panama . Vasquez is not taking the fight easy too because he has lots of respect for Filipino fighters since we Pinoys are known to be aggressive and hard fighters. Drian Francisco, an undefeated fighter with boxing record of 17-0-1 (win, loss, draw) 13 wins by way of KO, has been training rigidly to tone his body and skills to give his Panamanian opponent a good fight and most probably an upset. His trainer and corner men are also working so hard to give him the much needed firepower for the war inside the ring. It is always a pleasure to see a boxer attain world recognition and I seriously hope that Drian Francisco will attain the world champ status.
