The California State Athletic Commission announced that Rey Corona will be the referee of the next defense of Colombian Oscar Escandon, World Boxing Association 122-lbs interim champion.

Escandón (24-1, 16 KO) will fight Mexican Moisés Flores (22-0, 16 KO), at the Carson StubHub Center, California on Saturday April 18.

The Colombian will defend the title he won in December 2014. In California, when he defeated Tyson Cave by split decision.
