The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association decided not to approve the 140 lbs interim title between Vicente “Loco” Mosquera and Joan Guzmán, this Friday in Florida.

Guzman did not make the required Division weight, in which the fight had been scheduled.

The Championships Committee members voted on the matter based on the WBA Safety Code and decided the fight should be cancelled.
