Kameda won by split decision 115-113 in two score cards and 113-116 in the third.

After this fight, the champion apologized to his fan saying that it was not his best performance, although the result was the expected.

Kameda’s record is now 30-1 17 KO’s. While Panomroonglek record 30-2, 19 KO’s.


Kameda retiene cinturón por sexta vez

Prensa AMB.- 07 de abril.- El japonés Koki Kameda retiene por sexta vez su corona de campeón del peso gallo de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, después de vencer a su retador tailandés Kaiyanghadaogym Panomroonglek, en una pelea realizada en Osaka, Japón.

Kameda se impuso por decisión dividida 115-113 en dos tarjetas, y 113-116 en el tercer cartón.

El campeón, después de su pelea, pidió disculpas al público y a su fans asegurando que no había sido su mejor actuación pero el resultado había sido el esperado, de todas maneras.

Kameda deja ahora su registro en 30 triunfos, una derrota y 17 ganadas por nocaut.

Panomroonglek cuenta ahora con 36 peleas ganadas, dos caídas y 19 KO.
