The World Boxing Association sent a communication to both boxers and their representatives to reach an agreement for the cruiserweight fight.

The World Boxing Association ordered Guillermo Jones, WBA Cruiserweight champion, and the challenger Lateef Kayode from Nigeria, to reach an agreement for their next fight.

Although the official challenger is the Dennis Lebedev, Interim champion, Kayode was the leading available contender before the Interim championship was disputed, thus he was given the opportunity to fight.

The Resolution was issued and they are urge to reach an agreement and sign the contracts before March 1, 2012, or the Championships Committee will summon a Purse Bid.

In case a Purse Bid is summoned, it will take place on March 14 at the World Boxing Association headquarters, in Panama.

La Asociación Mundial de Boxeo envió la comunicación a ambos peleadores, y sus representantes, para que fijen sus condiciones para enfrentarse en la división de los cruceros.

La Asociación Mundial de Boxeo pidió llegar un acuerdo a los boxeadores para su próxima refriega, Guillermo Jones, campeón de las 200 libras, y el nigeriano Lateef Kayode, quien figura como segundo retador de la división.

Aunque el  retador mandatorio es Dennis Lebedev, por ser campeón interino, Kayode vía reconsideración fue seleccionado el mejor clasificado disponible, y se le concedió la oportunidad de pelear.

El comunicado de aviso fue emitido y se llama a la conciliación, además de invitar a suscribir los contratos antes del 1 de Marzo de 2012, o será necesario llamar a subasta para la pelea titular.

En el caso de llamarse a subasta, ésta será realizada el 14 de marzo, en las oficinas de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, en Panamá.
