The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association, after considering the claim made by the promoter Don King, returned the boxer Guillermo “Felino” Jones as a champion in recess.

This was stipulated in the resolution issued on Thursday that ratifies the Russian Dennis Lebedev as cruiserweight champion, according to the regulations of the WBA, known by both parties.

In addition, it reminded both parties they must close negotiation for the fight between Lebedev vs Jones and submit the contract no later on December 16, 2013.
