The main event featured a high-stakes 130-pound showdown between Diego Carbajal and Pablo Molina Gamarro, grandson of the late Olympic medalist Pedro Gamarro. In a genuine tactical war that stretched 10 rounds of fierce exchanges at mid-range and in close, Carbajal retained his WBA Fedebol super featherweight championship by split decision.

The judges’ scorecards reflected the competitiveness and intensity of the bout, with two officials scoring it 98-92 and 99-91 for Carbajal, while the third judge awarded Gamarro a narrow 94-96 verdict, recognizing the challenger’s greater effectiveness and precision with his power punches during the championship rounds.
