The American standout captured the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight title, along with the WBO championship, by stopping talented Puerto Rican contender Xander Zayas in the seventh round of a one-sided affair, where Ennis’ overwhelming physical strength dictated the action from the opening bell.

The fight quickly turned into a grueling test for the young Puerto Rican, who had no answer for Ennis’ surgical angles or crushing punching power.
