The World Boxing Association (WBA) Championships Committee published the official female ranking of the month and with it the individual awards, in which Che Kenneally won the Boxer of the Month. 

The Australian defeated Angie Rocha by unanimous decision on July 20 in Southport to win the vacant WBA light heavyweight crown. 

The 29-year-old put on a great show in front of her home crowd and has now achieved the big goal of becoming world champion.
