After the first date of this International Festival in honor of the emeritus president of the World Boxing Association (WBA), held in Venezuela, it is now the turn of Colombia, which will have the second part before ending in Panama the following week.

The Atlántico League will headline the event as the locals at the Cuadrilátero Élite Gymnasium and will be visited by those of Bolívar, Sucre, Córdoba, César, Guajira, Magdalena and the military league of the Armed Forces, in an exchange of talent of fighters of different categories.

The event will be attended by great Colombian boxing legends such as Antonio Cervantes and Fidel Bassa, who will accompany the youngsters in these interesting fights, which will serve as preparation for the qualifiers for the National Games of this country.

The Gilberto Mendoza Festival is in its seventh edition and each year has been growing in participation and expansion throughout the continent. Several countries and organizations have joined forces to support the WBA in a project that seeks to help young people and give them a space for development and competitiveness.
