World Boxing Association (WBA) Asian bantamweight champion Yuttapong Tongdee retained his crown by defeating F.Zaramchhana on Saturday at the SpacePlus RCA Arena, Bangkok, Thailand.

With the support of the home crowd and as owner of the crown, the Thai made a dominant fight against the visitor and it was reflected in the cards of 99-91, 99-91 and 97-93, with which he achieved the second defense of the belt.

The 29-year-old fighter has been making his way up the 118-pound ranks since his debut in 2020. He has been moving up quickly and beating bigger opponents with each bout he faces.

He reached 10 career wins, 5 of them by way of the dream, while F. Zaramchhana left his record at 4 wins and 3 losses.
