Argentina’s Mirco Cuello and Venezuela’s Leonardo Padilla will star in the main event of Thursday’s World Boxing Association (WBA) KO Drugs Festival at the Casino in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

They will be fighting for the international featherweight belt of the pioneer organization in the evening that will also featurea a lot of talent from several countries and that has as its flag the fight against drugs in the traditional WBA festival.

Cuello has a good career in the amateur ranks and since jumping to the professional has had seven wins in a row, which have earned him the opportunity for the regional title. 

He will face the visiting Padilla, a more experienced fighter who has fought in several countries. The Venezuelan has a great opportunity to get back on track and beating Cuello would be a big step in his career.

The event will also feature American heavyweight Jarrell Miller, who will face Ariel Bracamonte, while Argentinean Joel Mafauad will also see action and undefeated Kazakh heavyweight Ivan Dychko.
