The young American John Ramirez solved in an easy way his fight against the Mexican Jan Salvatierra and gave him one of the best knockouts of the year to win the crown of the North American Boxing Association (NABA), part of the World Boxing Association (WBA).

A straight right hand in the very first round sent Salvatierra out of the ring in incredible fashion to lift the crowd out of their seats at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.

Ramirez tested himself against a good level opponent and fulfilled his expectations, in addition to keeping the vacant crown and continuing to rise in his professional career.

The American reached 10 victories, 8 of which have been before the limit. Salvatierra now has a record of 8 wins and 2 losses.

"Camaron" Zepeda retained his WBA belt over Alvarado
