After a sensational activity, the World Boxing Association 105 lbs. champion, Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada, will aim to say goodbye to 2021 with another success. On Saturday, she will fight undefeated Guatemalan Maria “Unstoppable” Santizo in what will be Estrada’s first defense. The fight will take place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. And they will star in the co-main event of the card where Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez will fight Yunieski Gonzalez.

This is not just another fight for “Super Bad”, but rather a stepping stone to achieve one of the great goals he has set with his father Joe: to achieve the unification of the 105 and then do the same at 108 and 112 pounds. That is why the next big test could be against Costa Rican Yokasta Valle, also an IBF minimum champion.

The representative of Los Angeles has had a great year: on March 20 she defeated the Mexican Anabel Ortiz to win the minimum WBA belt. Then, on July 9, she beat Japan’s Tenkai Tsunami to win the WBO junior flyweight belt. And by November 2019, Seniesa also won the WBA flyweight interim title.

For her part, at 36 years old, Santizo, is at the top of the WBA ranking and will be fighting a great challenge in her professional career that began on November 17, 2018 with a fourth round technical knockout against Maria Guadalupe Ramirez. So far she remains unbeaten with 9 wins, 5 of which have been before the limit. While Seniesa Estrada will arrive with 21 wins and 8 knockouts.
