Arsen Goulamirian scored a fourth round knockout over Kane Watts to retain his World Boxing Association Super World Cruiserweight Championship. The fight took place at the Accor Hotel Arena in Paris, France.

Goulamirian once again put his power on display, as he came forward right from the opening bell, stalking his man slowly but with determination. He was throwing powerful hooks and straights as he slowly wore down Watts, who had no offensive answer.

It was in the fourth round that Watts was really starting to show the damage taken, and when he took a powerful left hook to the body he went down to the canvas on one knee and could not beat the count as he had had enough from the champion.

Goulamirian is of Armenian descent but trains with Abel Sanchez at the famous Big Bear Lake location in California. He is looking to really burst on the worldwide scene and appears to be right on the cusp now, with names such as Mairis Breidis and Yunier Dorticos on the horizon for potential unification fights.

With the victory, Goulamirian now has a record of 25 wins, no losses, and 17 victories by knockout. Watts, on the other hand, saw his record fall to 21 wins against 4 losses, with 13 victories coming via knockout.
