Undefeated World Boxing Association’s No.1 official challenger for the world super lightweight championship, Damitry “Star of David” Salita, will move his camp to Primm Valley Casino Resorts on Sunday, May 17, to complete training for his 10-round main event against Raul “El Toro” Munoz on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Star of the Desert Arena in Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino. “I’m glad to leave my camp in New York and head to Primm,” said the 27-year old Salita, who was born in Odessa, Ukraine and now lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.  “Just one more week of training.  I want to be impressive against Munoz.  This fight is very important because a victory means that I fight for the world championship next.”

Salita, 29-0-1 (26 KOs), has made special arrangements with the Nevada State Athletic Commission to weigh-in 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. The regular weigh-in for the event will be held at the Star of the Desert Arena at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23 for the other participants.

The hard-punching Munoz, 20-11-1 (15 KOs) from Topeka, Kan. will have a representative present at the Salita weigh-in, which has been arranged for Salita at the MGM Grand, where the commission will be attending another event.
