The World Boxing Association (WBA) Classifications Committee announced its raking for March, which includes the 15 best boxers in the 17 weight divisions. Only these boxers have the possibility of aspiring to a world title fight.
The Boxer of the Month was awarded to British man Anthony Joshua, who, in a great fight on Saturday, March 31st, defeated New Zealander Joseph Parker by a broad unanimous decision. This victory strengthened him as the best in the Heavyweight division.
On the other hand, the Honorable Mention was awarded to Russian Dmitry Bivol, current WBA Cruiserweight Champion, who, on March 3rd, in his first title defense, beat Cuban Sullivan Barrera by knockout in the last round.
This month, the WBA had a lot of world title activity, as it sanctioned 10 world championships.
