The Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, featured a stacked undercard of WBA fights before the Anthony Joshua vs David Price main event.  One of those was Ryan Burnett defending his World Boxing Association Super World Bantamweight Title against Yonfrez Parejo.

Burnett showed why he is a phenom that has been fast rising by using his excellent speed of hand and foot as well as very accurate punching to outpoint Parejo over the twelve round distance en route to a unanimous decision with cards that read 120-108, 120-108, and 116-112.

Burnett had control of the fight from start to finish with Parejo unable to mount an offense.  Burnett stayed on the outside and was far too fast of foot for the challenger, as he darted in range to get his shots off and then was back out of range before Parejo could respond.

Burnett even dropped his hands for a large majority of the fight, tempting Parejo to hit him but Parejo just could not land anything.  It was a nearly perfect performance for the young champion, with the veteran Parejo showing that he is cagey and in great shape despite being outclassed.
