Japanese Reiya Konishi and Venezuelan Carlos Cañizals made weight this Saturday in Kobe, Japan, and are ready to fight for the vacant World Boxing Association Light Flyweight title.

Konishi hit the scales at 107.5 pounds. This will be the first time that the Japanese boxer fights for a world title. However, he has already been national champion at 108 pounds in his country, and defended that title twice. The record of the Asian is immaculate, has 15 wins, 5 of them by knockout.
