Erislandy Lara (24-2-2, 14KO’s) and Terrell Gausha (20-0, 9KO’s) both made weight at the Barclays Center today.  WBA super champion Lara came in at 153.6lbs, while the undefeated American Olympian Gausha came in at 153.2lbs.

They will be fighting in the main event on Showtime tomorrow night at the Barclays Center in New York under their Premier Boxing Champions banner.

This figures to be a very good chess match that showcases good boxing skills as it is pitting the slick Cuban style against the stylish American.

It will be interesting to see where both men go after this bout, as Lara is looking for the big fights at middleweight but also has that he is willing to stick around at super welterweight and fight all the young up-and-coming talent while cleaning out the division.
