The WBA regrets the death of journalist Leonardo Duke.

The president, the Executive Committee and World Boxing Association family regret the passing away of Venezuelan journalist Leonardo Duke, who died the night of Friday May 12th.

Duke was a prominent Boxing chronicler, who would always inform about Venezuelan boxers. He had recently started a digital project called Puro Combate, of which he was editor, and a television program with the same name.

During his professional trajectory, Duke was recognized for his acute analysis and boxing chronicles, besides his link with the WBA family.

We raise prayers for the eternal repose of his soul and we join his family and friends in their grieve.

The wake will be held at the Vallés funeral home in the city of Caracas.

May he Rest In Peace.
