Japanese boxer Takashi Uchiyama made public his gratefulness for being elevated to Super Champion of the world of the 130 lbs super featherweight division by the World Championship Committee of the World Boxing Association.

The Japanese said he was very happy for the honor he received, and promised to keep on defending his championship belt as he has done it so far.

“It is an honor for me to receive this appointment as super champion of the world. I want to thank the World Boxing Association and its vice-president and its president.”

Then Uchiyama stated, “I feel proud to continue working to be better boxer every day.”

The super champion of the world’s record is 22-0-1, 18 KO’s, and holds the belt since 2010, after defeating Juan Carlos Salgado in Tokyo, he has nine successful defenses.
