Meanwhile, Daniel Geale said to be very happy for this opportunity to fight with a figure like Gennady Golovkin, and to have the opportunity to be a world champion again. He also said that he will make a great fight, not only because he prepared very well “but for all my family is looking forward to it, especially my mother who always make the battle”.

Geale said his mother is undergoing a treatment for cancer and for this reason he dedicates this Saturday fight to her, said his promoter Gary Shaw, who also said his boxer “is not afraid of fighting Golovkin. There will be only one champion on Saturday and I am sure that will be Daniel”.

The monarch has been the King of the division since 2010, and remains undefeated after 29 fights, 26 KO´s, with 16 consecutive. For his part, Geale has 36-2, 16 KO´s.
