WBA 90th Annual Convention began on Sunday November 6 with the arrival of members and delegates to the Plaza hotel Shakhtar Donetsk, Ukraine.

Throughout the day was the registration period for members and delegates who came from different parts of the world.

For his part, President of the World Boxing Association, Dr. Gilberto Mendoza, was with Yuri Rubans finishing the last details for the official opening of the convention will be Monday. The friendly atmosphere that exists has overcome the language barrier. It was an opportunity to meet friends and meet new people.

The presence of Roberto Duran, former world champion in 4 categories and Hall of Fame Boxing, along with Donny Lalonde, former heavyweight champion, has given a special touch to the convention. Everyone wants a picture or an autograph.

La Convención anual 90 de la WBA comenzó hoy domingo 6 de noviembre con la llegada de los miembros y delegados al hotel Shaktar Plaza en Donetsk, Ucrania.

Durante todo el día fue el periodo de registro para los miembros y delegados que llegaron de diferentes partes del mundo.

Por su parte el presidente de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, Dr. Gilberto Mendoza, estuvo junto a Yuri Rubans, Union Boxing Promotion, terminando los últimos detalles para la inauguración oficial de la convención que será mañana lunes.

El ambiente de amigos que se vive ha superado la barrera del idioma. Ha sido una oportunidad de encontrarse con amigos y conocer nuevas personas.

La presencia de Roberto Durán, ex campeón mundial en 4 categorías y miembro del Salón de la Fama del Boxeo, junto a Donny Lalonde, ex campeón mundial semipesado, le ha dado un toque especial a la convención. Todos quieren una fotografía o un autógrafo.
