Panamanian super featherweight Juan “El Olímpico” Huertas” (7-0, 6 KOs) stopped his countryman Eric “El Comando” Castro (8-5-2, 7 KOs) at 1:02 of the second round to win the vacant WBA Fedecentro title.

Huertas hurt Castro with a right hand to the chin and kept throwing combinations and forced referee Guillermo Pérez to stop the fight.

Huertas represented his country in the London 2012 Olympic where he was outpointed in his first fight by Puerto Rican Felix Verdejo.
