The WBA published August Ranking

The World Boxing Association (WBA) Classifications Committee released on August 31 the ranking for the current month, which includes the list of the 15 best fighters in the 17 weight divisions.

Terence Crawford was awarded the Boxer of the Month distinction after earning the WBA Super Lightweight title by beating Julius Indingo and becoming the second boxer to own the four world titles from the world’s major boxing bodies.

On the other hand, Badou Jack was awarded the Honorable Mention, due to his great victory against British Nathan Cleverly by knockout. Thus, he took over the WBA Light Heavyweight Belt.

During the period from August 12 to August 28, two world title fights were held.
