Yuri Foreman won a unanimous decision over Daniel Santos (32 wins, 3 losses, 23
KOs) in their twelve rounds of boxing for the WBA Super Welterweight Championship.

The judges scored the bout: Robert Hoyle 116-110, Jerry Roth 117-109, Clark Samartino 117-109.  Foreman dominated the early rounds scoring a knockdown in round 2. And thereafter the momentum shifted back and forth with another knockdown in the eleventh.

Foreman remains undefeated and improves to 28 wins, inclusive of 8 knockouts and became the first Israeli fighter to win a world boxing championship.
