Today the final press conference was held in Panama City for Saturday’s big WBA KO Drugs XXII boxing night festival at the Roberto Duran Arena featuring 14 fights. WBA executive vice president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza and Rogelio Espino of Promotions y Eventos del Istmo have combined efforts for this event, which will include boxers from Mexico, Thailand, Puerto Rico, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Nicaragua, United States, Russia and Panama. Panama will be the world boxing Capital this weekend.
