WBA Executive Vice President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, WBA ratings chairman Jose Oliver Gómez and WBA flyweight interim world champion Luis “El Nica” Concepcion made the official presentation of the donation of USD $15,000 promised to the Children’s Hospital of Panama from ticket sales at the WBA’s XXII International “KO to Drugs” Festival held October 2. “It is a WBA commitment to make such donations. Boxing must be closer to the needs of society in this case the children of Panama,” said Mendoza.
