On Wednesday, Panamanian world champions Luis “El Nica” Concepcion (WBA interim flyweight), Guillermo “El Felino” Jones (WBA Cruiserweight) and Celestino “Pelenchin” Caballero (WBA super bantamweight super champion) in the company of Gilberto Jesus Mendoza (WBA Executive Vice President), Oliver Gómez (Chairman of the WBA ratings and Miguel Prado on behalf of (COMIBOX) visited the Panamanian National Children’s Hospital.

The fighters were happy to deliver gifts to the delighted children as they shared their stories and exploits> They also promised to emerge victorious in their upcoming fights and will dedicate those victories to the children as incentive for them to improve their health and grow strong and healthy to achieve their dreams.

Gilberto Jesus Mendoza was thrilled to carry out this initiative in the company of the Panamanian boxing heros and pledged to continue promoting this kind of noble activity throughout Panama. The WBA also made a donation to the Panama Children’s Hospital through the “XXII WBA KO Drugs Festival” in order to improve the medical facilities to provide better service for the good health of the patients.
