The Vice President of the World Boxing Association, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, and the President of the International Boxing Federation, Darrell People gathered at the Hotel Hard Rock Cafe Megapolis of Panama before the weighing ceremony for the title fights of both organizations this coming Saturday.

Mendoza and People chatted friendly about different future plans for the sport’s growth, and and sketched some ideas to keep the favoritism in the sport.

They were both present at the weigh-in ceremony of the Panamanian Roberto “La Araña” Vasquez and Luis Ríos, who will fight for the WBA and IBF belts, respectively.

Prensa AMB. 15 de marzo.- El vicepresidente de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, y el presidente de la Federación Internacional de Boxeo, Darrell People se reunieron en el Hotel Hard Rock Café Megapolis de Panamá, estuvieron reunidos antes de la ceremonia de pesaje de las peleas titulares de ambos organismos que se realizaran el sábado.

Mendoza y People conversaron amenamente acerca de diferentes planes para el crecimiento de la disciplina, y además lanzaron ideas a desarrollar conjuntamente en vísperas de hacer que el boxeo se mantenga en el favoritismo de la afición.

Ambos estuvieron presentes en la ceremonia de pesaje de los panameños Roberto “La Araña” Vásquez y Luis Ríos, quienes irán en procura de cinturones de la AMB y la FIB, respectivamente.
