WBA # 8 world ranked Nilson “El Martillo” Tapia retained his WBA Fedelatin Super Welterweight title by unanimous decision against former world contender Alfonso “El Huracan” Mosquera, on Wednesday night at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City. Tapia dominated most of the fight using his reach advantage over the brave Mosquera, as the fight began to approach the middle rounds, both fighters took their turns trading combinations, scores were 108-104, 107.5-105, 107.5-103.
