WBA mini flyweight champion Giovani Segura (23-1-1, 19 KOs) scored a third round TKO over Walter Tello (14-4, 6 KOs) on Saturday night at the Discoteca El Alebrije in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. Both fighters went right at each other in round one with both landing good shots. The champion had the upper hand as the two-way action continued and referee Luis Pabon finally jumped in to protect Tello in round three. Time was 1:59.

Lightweight contender Urbano Antillon (27-1, 20 KOs) scored a third round stoppage of Luis “Vampiro” Arceo (22-10-2, 15 KOs) after their bout was halted due to a bad cut suffered by Arceo. The cut was ruled to be caused by a punch, so TKO Antillon. Time was 2:25.

Unbeaten super lightweight “Son of the Legend” Omar Chavez moved to 20-0, 14 KOs after destroying Rodrigo Juarez (15-11, 6 KOs) with a left hook at 1:44 of round one.
