The Nicaraguan Roman “Chocolatito Gonzalez will defend his WBA flyweight world title for the first time against Mexican Manuel” Chango “Vargas on Saturday in Puebla. Gonzalez (27-0, 23 KOs) and Vargas (29-7-1, 14 KOs) both made the division limit of 108-pounds.

 

“I showed once again that I have no problems with the weight and I feel great. I have no doubt that I will win and it will be a great fight this Saturday in Mexico,” said world champion 23 years to lose the Roman.

 

While Mexico’s “Chango” Vargas says that he feels very strong to beat Gonzalez this Saturday.

 

“I had a preparation and made weight without problems, I’ll be stronger and faster than Gonzalez and his title will stay in Mexico,” said the native of Lagos Moreno, Jalisco.
