The world champion and the Interim Champion will have to wait for the WBA decision regarding the fight.

The World Championships Committee directed Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, World Boxing Association Vice-president, declared  the Purse Bid to grant the promotional rights for the Super Welterweight title fight between the regular  champion Austin Trout and the Interim champion Anthony Mundine.

The Bidding process was supposed to take place on Thursday March 29, at the WBA office in Panama; however, none of the representatives attended the summoned gathering.

For this reason, Mendoza announced that the WBA reserves the right to apply the necessary measures.

Wealth TV representative was at the Purse Bid in Panama with a cashier’s check and a very generous offer.  However, he could not participate as he is not a registered promoter.

Los peleadores, campeón absoluto y el campeón interino, respectivamente, deberán esperar por la decisión de la AMB, en relación a su compromiso.

El Comité de Campeonatos, que preside Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, vicepresidente ejecutivo de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, declaró desierta la subasta para la pelea entre el campeón mundial del Super Welter, Austin Trout y el interino, Anthony Mundine.

Dicho acto estaba pautado para realizarse este jueves 29 de marzo, en los espacios de la AMB, en Panamá, sin embargo, no se presentaron representantes de ninguno de los boxeadores involucrados.

Por este motivo, Mendoza anunció que el ente universal se reserva el derecho de aplicar las sanciones reglamentarias pertinentes al caso.

El señor Adrian Patrick, representante de Wealth TV estuvo presente en la subasta con su cheque de Gerencia y una excelente oferta, sin embargo, no pudo participar en virtud de que no es un promotor registrado en este organismo.
