A press conference was held in Panama to officially announce the next defense of Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno. After several bumps in the road, Moreno will finally make his eighth defense against Venezuelan Lorenzo Parra, on Friday June 17 at the Arena Roberto Duran of Panama City. With the presence of promoters Rogelio Espino and Gary Shaw, the conference provided the initial details of this explosive evening. The co-feature was announced and it shocked the presser, as WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin will defend the title against Kassim “The Dream” Ouma.

Also on the card will be the #3 ranked WBA welterweight Alberto “Machine Gun” Mosquera in a fight against world ranked #10 WBA welterweight Jhoan Perez.
